Mabel Machado López

Born in Cuba, 1987. Journalist. Professor at University of Havana, reporter and editor of Cuban cultural magazine La Jiribilla. Also working with the Revista de Nuevo Cine, Diario del Festival de Cine, music publications Cubadisco and La Corchea, institutional portals of the AHS and the UNEAC, and the tabloid\\\\\\\'s shot on the International Book Fair Havana. Other media such as herencia Latina, Lettres de Cuba, Granma, Le Grand Soir, Cuban Art News and Rebelión have republished or translated her articles. During the Festival de Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano de La Habana, in the roles of reporter, producer and screenwriter, has joined the news team of the event that Canal Educativo transmitted on national TV.

Talent Press, a hands-on training of the Berlinale Talent Campus in collaboration with FIPRESCI and the Goethe-Institut, is a platform for young film critics and journalists from around the world to acquaint themselves with current trends in world cinema. Selected by an international jury, they are invited to Berlin to review films of the festival and report on events of the Berlinale Talent Campus. Under the tutelage of prominent film critics they share their impressions and insights through their daily articles for the Berlinale Talent Campus website and those of its partners – FIPRESCI and the Goethe-Institut.
